Asha Ziembiec

President, Southtowns Radiology

Dr. Ziembiec, President of Southtowns Radiology, is a highly skilled radiologist who has been part of the practice for the past five years. She completed her fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, from July 2015 to June 2016, focusing on advanced imaging techniques. Before that, she completed her residency at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, from July 2011 to July 2015 and her internship at Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore, MD, from July 2010 to July 2011.

Dr. Ziembiec earned her Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where she also completed her medical school education from August 2006 to May 2010.

She chose radiology because of her passion for the science behind medical imaging and enjoys the challenge of interpreting complex cases, describing it as "solving a puzzle" with each patient.

Outside of work, Dr. Ziembiec enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, and traveling and cherishes spending time with her children.
