Joseph Racanelli

Medical Director, Hudson Valley Imaging

Dr. Racanelli received his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine, followed by an internship at Nassau County Medical Center. He served as Chief Resident during his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Creighton University Medical Center and went on to complete specialty fellowship training in Neuroradiology at the Mayo Clinic. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.

With 30 years of experience in his practice, including the past 5 years at Hudson Valley Imaging, radiology was a natural career choice for Dr. Racanelli. A visually focused person, he finds that visual cues are central to how he learns and remembers.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys boating on his lake, skiing, and relaxing on Florida’s beaches.
